These are just some of the words used to describe images or a film. And Al Gore's "The Inconvenient Truth", has shown to the world the urgent need to address environmental issues, through a very carefull and well-planned strategy - using the media as a communicative tool. A simple strategy of course but one that literally speaks a thousand words.

Today, the environment is still providing mankind with many resources, which are now steadily depleting. We have tortured, battered and raped the Earth from its richness and there’s a great need to mobilize an eco-revolution for the planet.

Even though mankind have caused the problem. We can provide the solution. The non-profit Eco Film Fest 2008 was established to raise the urgency to address environmental issues in Malaysia through communicative media. This programme is designed for use by non-scientists is a simple way to educate and raise the level of eco consciousness among the younger generations.

But the film fest wouldn’t be possible without the help and generosity from our supporters and volunteers.
