Salt Media will be conducting a workshop, "Paint a Poem" for 40 orphans from Kuala Lumpur. Founded by media veterans, Salt generates creative communications ideas that are tailor-made to respond to your needs and that can help you manage your competition.

Gerai Orang Asal (OA)

Gerai Orang Asal (OA) just turned 4 in October 2008. Run by volunteers with 100% remittance back to the Orang Asal craftspeople, the crafts sold at Eco Film Fest are often rarely found in mainstream shops. The items sold include natural bead accessories, baskets made from various natural fibres, pandanus mats, traditional puzzles & musical instruments. Sales of these items help supplement the income of our Orang Asal craftspeople and also helps keeps their culture alive. Sustainable harvesting of their raw materials also keeps their environment green and generates awareness to keep their traditional lands intact.

The BYEE Alumni

The BYEE Alumni – Malaysian youth who advocate environmental issues and are linked together as previous participants of the Bayer Young Environmental Envoy (BYEE) Programme. This programme which aims to improve the youth’s knowledge regarding environmental issues, gives selected students the opportunity to go for a weeklong study tour in Germany and experience how the people, government and industry in one of the leading countries with regard to technology and environmental awareness, practice environmental protection.

As the official hybrid car for Eco Film Fest, take a sneak peek at Premier Hybrid's latest hybrid vehicle. Premier Hybrid has also sponsored an orphanage to a special arts workshop, facilitated by Salt Media.
