Eco Film Festival, KL's first green festival will be held at the National Arts Academy on the 1st and 2nd of November. This event marks the first eco fairground in a local cityscape, where the weekend will feature about 10 films shown in various locations throughout the green lawns of the National Arts Academy along with special festival events at designated areas.

From October 7-19, Gardner & Wife Theatre, with the support of Gulf Air, will present the Edinburgh State Puppet Theatre's child-friendly production of THE MAN WHO PLANTED TREES. Now going in to our third year, Wild Asia’s 2008 Responsible Tourism Awards will be held in October. Through the awards we have the opportunity to recognize the efforts of tourism operators who are committed to following the principles of Responsible Tourism.

The awards and seminar are the chance for us to bring together the leading practitioners of Responsible Tourism in the region. This 3-day event focuses not only on highlighting the best resorts and initiatives in Asia and South East Asia, but also on sharing knowledge and experience of putting Responsible Tourism in to practice and therefore encourage other operators to make Responsible Tourism part of their business strategy.
