Traditionally they use huge amounts of water and pesticides. But now some clubs are trying to be more eco-friendly. Yes, it might raise your eye brow but hey, it's the beginning of new green hobby.
The Bakun Dam is located in Sarawak, Malaysia on the Balui River,[1] a tributary or source of the Rajang River and some sixty kilometers west of Belaga.[2] As part of the project, the tallest concrete-faced rockfill dam in the world would be built. This would also be the largest dam in Asia outside of China. It is expected to generate 2,400 megawatts (MW) of electricity once completed.
