Germany could kick fossil fuel habit by 2050 - study |

BERLIN
(Reuters) - Germany could derive all of its electricity from renewable
energy sources by 2050 and become the world's first major industrial
nation to kick the fossil fuel habit, the Federal Environment Agency
said on Wednesday.

KINABALU: International conservationists are calling on Malaysia to
lead the way towards green energy by scrapping the controversial
coal-fired power plant in Lahad Datu.
They have written to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak asking him to scrap the 300MW plant.
